  • Providing PPA cover and supply to years R-Year 6 (predominantly years 1/2 for 6 years and with Year 4/5 (academic year 2023-2024) but I have provided supply cover to all years teaching all subjects.
  • I have particularly enjoyed teaching art and have had my classes’ art work selected and exhibited at the Fitzwilliam Museum as part of the Inspire Project 2020 and at Ely Cathedral for the competition in 2022 as part of the Etheldreda Banner Project.
  • Taking whole school assemblies on a rota.
  • Have taught Forest school for two years having gained my Level 3 certificate for leading Forest school in 2023.
  • I attend the annual Forest School Conferences organised by the FSA.
  • Academic year 2023-2024 I was teaching Science, Maths and Forest School to year 4/5 on Mondays and Forest School on Tuesday afternoons to Year 1/2.
  • This academic year (2024-2025) I am teaching Forest School (onsite) to a year 1/2 mixed class weekly, and a Year 3/4 mixed class and year 5/6 class monthly (offsite).

  • I was RE and PSHE Co-ordinator attending twilight RE advisory meetings for CPD.
  • I also attended a residential CPD St Gabriel’s RE Teacher weekend in 2007 and 2008.
  • Planned rota with themes for RE and SEAL assemblies for staff on a termly basis.
  • Worked on developing a new SEALS unit of work that was published by Cambridgeshire County Council that promoted inclusion particularly in relation to children from BME and Gypsy, Roma and Traveller learners (we had a large proportion of these in the school).
  • Teaching all subjects and taking assemblies for KS2 on a rota.
  • I ran an afterschool weekly drama class to years 3-6.

  • Also a form tutor for a year 5 class and every year as a form tutor I accompanied the year group on school residentials to Derbyshire for a week.

  • I ran a weekly afterschool Dance and Drama Club to years 7-8, ran a lunchtime choir for years 5/6 and helped with a Christian lunchtime club that was run by a local Christian organisation.
  • Choreographed small groups of children for dance performances in the annual Tattersalls school production.
  • Also attended Careers Education and Guidance course by Connexions in 2005 and organised careers education materials for year 5 which included organising visiting guest speakers to showcase various professions.

Voluntary Work

  • St John’s Church, Waterbeach: Helping plan and deliver Kidschurch on a rota basis, Serving tea/coffee to parents at the toddler group on a rota basis,
  • Helping weekly with Brownies held at the local church each Tuesday evening. I am training to be a Leader.
  • I cared for my late elderly parents who both had dementia and other health problems. My mother lived with us for the last four years before she died at the age of 91.
