Summary

I am a compassionate and patient individual with background in higher education, social research and social work. My core skill set combines strong communication and problem-solving skills, and expertise in creating engaging activities as well as maintaining safe, nurturing environments.

I have a deep love of dogs, and have personally experienced the life changing bond that can be fostered when dogs and humans work together. My Border Collie cross Golden Retriever, Astrid, has taught me more in life than any person and we have worked hard together to learn to understand each other's cues. I wouldn't be alive without her and I am inspired by the opportunity to learn to support others on their journeys with service animals.
