Through my role at ASJ Installations I have had the opportunity to travel for work across the United States, Canada and Australia. I was selected to join these projects alongside the company director and was trusted to represent the business on major international installations. These jobs involved working in unfamiliar environments, communicating with new client teams and adapting quickly to different site expectations and standards. I supported the delivery of large scale shelving and storage systems, maintained professional conduct throughout each project and demonstrated reliability and confidence when working abroad. From August 2024 to May 2025 I travelled through Australia, Asia and New Zealand. This time allowed me to step away from day to day routine and experience new cultures, environments and ways of living. I spent time meeting people from different backgrounds, navigating new places and managing everything independently, which helped me develop confidence, adaptability and perspective. The break gave me space to reflect on my direction, understand what I value in work and life, and return to the UK with clearer focus and a stronger mindset. I rejoined ASJ Installations after returning home and continued to build on my leadership experience with a renewed sense of purpose.
I progressed from labourer to foreman at ASJ Installations through consistent performance, reliability and leadership. I took ownership of increasing responsibility on site and was trusted to lead installation teams on major projects across the UK. I independently taught myself how to design and build the ASJ Installations company website, improving the business’s professional presence, recruitment visibility and communication with clients. I have been recognised by clients and site managers for maintaining high standards, strong attention to detail and a calm, professional approach under pressure. Alongside this, I have supported new starters and developed strong communication skills through customer facing responsibilities and day to day client interaction.
