As a Head of department I have:

-Set targets for colleagues

-Monitored the performance of staff and performed lesson observations and lined manage colleagues

-Monitored the progress of students across key stages and organised interventions to rectify underperformance

-Managed department meetings and set priorities for the department

-Set goals doe the department through annual development plans

-Been responsible for departmental trips both day rips and residential trips abroad

-Managed the budget of a department to prioritise needs of students

As Pupil premium co-ordinator I have:

-Been responsible for organising whole school insets into how PP pupils are managed and catered for

-Monitored data across departments and across the school to analyse how pupils are performing

-Organised sessions across the school for pupils to support PP students

-Been responsible for the allocation of money to support students and monitor progress

As a Classroom teacher I have:

-Maintained a comprehensive and deep understanding of the curriculum content across the key stages in History and in Politics

-Closely followed pedagogy and focused on using the most recent research to improve performance of all pupils

-Have consistently achieved positive valued added school for students

-Lesson observations have always shown that I am a teacher with extensive subject knowledge and the ability to motivate students of all ability levels
