Work History

Bricklayer (Work experience)

Woodhead Construction
03.2015 - 03.2016

Over the course of two years whilst at college I accrued a months worth of work experience working on site for Woodhead construction doing various jobs such as bricklaying and general labouring. The work i had put in and the enthusiasm would have got me a full time job working for Woodhead if the company was hiring.

Sherwood Construction/M.B Construction
06.2016 - 06.2016

After finishing Level two bricklaying at college the liaison officer for the construction department managed to set me up with a trial for an apprenticeship with Sherwood construction. This job entailed clearing the land for the construction of conservatories, digging out the strip foundations to the appropriate depth by shovel/mini excavator, filling the foundations with concrete and if needed Rebar mesh if needed and occasionally building up the brickwork for the foundations.

I had worked over the 2016-2017 Christmas period on a temporary contract voice picking on CPA 3, This entailed picking the correct stock into cages making sure the stock that is picked is not damaged and in the correct amount and within a set time. I always worked to my targets and worked well with the team I was in.
