My passions and hobbies have always been aligned with the natural environment, developing the academic and practical skills on how to research and conserve marine and freshwater environments will forever be at the forefront of my career. I have gained ample experience in surveying the diverse marine habitats along the European coastlines during my five years studying at Bangor University and University of Bergen with my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. I then had the opportunity to work in the Environmental Assessment and Advice team for Natural Resources Wales, further building upon my surveying and sampling skills in varying freshwater environments to a high and standardised level. I pride myself on my warm, hardworking, and positive attitude that I bring to my workplace and have always worked well in team settings and in independent projects. I took a 1.5 year career break to travel and work in New Zealand and have returned to work in the EAAT with NRW. I am excited to return to environmental monitoring and working towards transferring my skills to the marine field.
