• First point of contact for all recruitment and on-boarding matters, providing advice and guidance on all operational matters (such as policy, procedures, legislation and best practice)
• Operational management of external resources; contracts such as Recruitment Partners, Disclosure Scotland etc ensuring cost effective service delivery
• Providing an optimal candidate experience, building the employer profile
• Building relationships with Recruiting Managers and stakeholders to quickly gain a sound understanding of the business and its hiring needs
• Managing multiple vacancies at any one time to completion
• Spending time with Recruiting Managers to understand their current and future hiring plans, challenging their intended method and existing ways of working, where necessary
• Supporting Recruiting Managers with selection assessments, ensuring candidate offers are processed efficiently and unsuccessful candidates are provided with timely feedback

• Supporting the implementation to key recruitment initiatives and projects
• Delivery of ad hoc recruitment surgeries to brief /upskill managers on recruitment policy and process
• Ad-hoc duties as required, such as supporting with payroll processing
