• Identifying and analysing building defects, including proposals for repair and overseeing works on listed buildings and building located in conservation areas.
• Advising on energy efficiency, environmental impact and sustainable construction.
• Advising on Health and Safety aspects of buildings in relation to HHSRS
• Advising on party wall procedures and processing Party Wall agreements with external surveyor.
• Inspecting works on site to ensure proper standards of workmanship, compliance with specification, Health and Safety Plan and programme of works and compliance with CDM regulations 2015.

• Preparing feasibility and working drawings and for submission for planning & building regulations approval

• Undertaking contract administration
• Inspection of completed works and payment of grants.
• Carrying out renewal area property surveys,
• Undertaking EPC's surveys and various property types.

Responsible for new build commercial schemes, main duties consisted:

• Preparation of plans, details & sections using Autocad.
• Preparation of plans to gain statutory planning & building regulation approval
• Preparation of schedules of work, specifications and tender documents carrying out measured surveys to facilitate the design, manufacture and construction of steel framed volumetric buildings.

• Conclude and draw up proposals for repair and maintenance or replacement of key defects to structural elements identified. Works over £10k
• Maintaining drawing library, for 3 surveyors
• Preparation of schedules of dilapidation, condition surveys and structural surveys on domestic and commercial properties, including listed buildings.
