• Provide advice to the High Hazard industry (related to their COMAH Safety Reports)and my contribution and effective communication led to:
  o Duty holders having a better understanding of the Major Accident Hazard identification (HAZOP, HAZID, PHR, LOPA, SIL determination),
  o Consultants and Duty holders presenting a better Scenario Analysis (Consequence modelling e.g. PHAST, TNO Multi-energy model, QRA/semi-QRA Risk Assessment (e.g. Individual risk, Societal Risk, Risk Matrices).
  o Duty holders identifying and implementing further Risk Reduction Measures and demonstrate ALARP. My input led to various Duty Holders meeting the COMAH regulations and applying inherent safer design.
• Carry out risk assessments and site inspections on COMAH sites (Refineries, Oil terminals and Chemical sites). My input significantly reduced the risk to people and environment and prevented accidents.
• Provide advice and guidance to manage risk (Hazardous Substance Consent applications). My input reduced the risks to members of the public and environment and increased duty holder satisfaction by providing specialised advice.
• Investigate fatal accidents on chemical sites. My input convinced duty holders to enhanced their process safety management system and establish effective communication between management and operators (safety culture).

• Rotate stock (process date management)
• Calculate and register weight of fish in the chillers (from intake to despatch store)

• Leading role in the development and mark up P&ID’s. Anticipating potential process safety related problems and address them.

• Taking the initiative to complete Process calculations (e.g. Heat exchangers, pumps and process/utilities line sizing). Optimised to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
• Improve the Thermal oil system design (influenced cost saving)

Maxoil Solutions ltd projects:

• EnQuest plc Aberdeen – Hysys simulations in order to calculate the Oil shrinkage factors with and without compression. Increased oil sales by 3% (with compression).
• EnQuest plc Aberdeen – Assistance with Subsea production and injection well P&ID’s. My input: Identify areas of improvement. and optimise the oil production and extended use of the oil well.

Marine Process Engineer (Knightbridge Project EnQuest plc) Based in Hamburg, Germany

• Leading role in the development of P&IDs and PFD for Chemical Injection System, Sounding gauging and Draft system, Exhaust and Combustion Air system, Drain and
Helideck scuppers system and HVAC system.
• Mentoring: Review calculations and Datasheets performed by Graduates/Junior process Engineers
• Take ownership to write the Statement of Requirement for FPSO Marine systems (e.g. Fresh water system)
• Process Engineering lead role: attend HAZOP session
• Write technical reports of existing Marine and Topside Systems

Shell Global Solution projects, Netherlands
• Provide information of proven Water treatment technologies for Produced Water re-injection (IOR/EOR). Promote innovation and explain results of test trials.
