• Utilise advanced musculoskeletal skills when performing triage of orthopaedic and Rheumatological referrals from GP's directing patient into appropriate primary, secondary or tertiary care service according to clinical presentation.
• Managing patients that would have traditionally been referred into secondary care orthopaedic services with spinal and peripheral problems and involves use of advanced decision-making and clinical reasoning skills to perform clinical interventions that may fall outside normal scope of physiotherapy practice.
• Using advanced MSK skills and independently making decisions regarding clinical diagnosis and future clinical management of presenting patients through assimilation of clinical assessment and requesting and interpretation of results of specific medical investigations such as X rays, MRI, USS and pathology tests.

• Getting involved with service led GP and Patient engagement session to develop good relationship within community.
• Contributing to regular CPD update within service by taking part in monthly In-Service training.
• Using shared decision making tool, discussing with patient and family members / caregivers appropriate pathway and treatment options available to help them make informed decision in patient's care.

• To work within Primary Care clinical protocols, procedures and guidelines and Professional Standards set by the HPC and CSP professional bodies. To have good working knowledge of national and local standards and monitor own and others quality of practice as appropriate.
• To order, interpret and act upon medical investigations within Primary Care, and expedite access to Secondary Care services as required e.g. Medical Imaging.

• To work at an advanced level of clinical practice and to assess, diagnose, treat and manage musculoskeletal (MSK) problems and undifferentiated conditions.

• Acting as a source of expertise on the management of patients with MSK conditions and providing an advisory service to professional colleagues, and support the GPs in the education and supervision of qualified staff.

• Monitoring performance of my team, sharing success and identifying areas of improvement. Regularly doing 1:1 supervised clinics, team calls and face to face reviews and dealing with any complex patient by doing a joint clinics.
• Supporting service manager to implement change within the service. Working closely with the workforce planning team in organising diaries and supporting the referral management centre in delivering a good quality administrative process.

• Providing high level physiotherapy to private and insurance patients utilising evidence based practice to identify the underlying cause with prompt diagnosis of any acute, sub-acute and chronic orthopaedic, spinal and sports conditions as presented in the clinical settings.
• Devising a customised treatment protocol and advising on prevention of injury relapse and giving ergonomical advice to professional clients.
• Undertaking a refresher training day, as part of regular CPD profile for Junior Physiotherapist at the clinic.
• Liaising with Clinical Lead Management and assisting in conducting interviews for any vacant junior physiotherapist positions in the clinics.

• Responsibilities: Providing high level physiotherapy to private, insurance and NHS patients by utilising evidence based practice to identify the underlying cause with prompt diagnosis of any acute, sub-acute and chronic orthopaedic, spinal and sports conditions as presented in the clinical settings.
• Implementing a bio-psychosocial approach to devise a customised treatment protocol and advising on prevention of injury relapse and giving ergonomical advice to professional clients.
• Liaising with the Physiotherapy manager for regular update on CPD profile and utilising the advice of multi-disciplinary team available at the clinic like Pilates, Acupuncturist, Podiatrist and Sports Massage Therapist to provide high quality treatment to the patient's.

• Responsibilities: Utilising the latest evidence based research for diagnosing and preparing a treatment plan for various sports related injuries.
• Preparing a pre-habilitation program to prevent from common sports injuries and managing the athlete's injury profile from day-to-day basis.
• Also, to provide consultation to the affiliated club members for any musculoskeletal and medical conditions affecting their daily routine.
• Achievements: •Successfully developed and implemented an injury profile database for all age group cricketers affiliated with the Mumbai Cricket Association.
• By utilizing the help of strength and conditioning coaches and academy dieticians, improvement in the physical fitness of the cricketers was obtained by devising customised training programs.
• Effectively halved the incidence of sports injuries by implementing and supervising pre-habilitation programs during the pre-season period.

Using evidence based practice to identify the underlying cause with prompt diagnosis of orthopaedic, sports, neurological and medical conditions as presented in the clinical settings.

Achievements: Introduced and promoted the use of SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Analysis and Plan) notes for every patient and maintaining the databases for future reference in the clinic.
