Summary

I am a hard worker who is able do tasks efficiently, whilst also being able to maintain a high standard of work even when placed under high amounts of pressure. I am able to take initiative and quickly construct solutions to any problem that can be considered an obstacle. Growing up with a mother who has Fredrick’s ataxia, resulting to her being wheelchair bound, allowed me to gain these types of skills that some may only develop in their 20s. From the age of 7, I was already cleaning and even cooking whilst helping my mother. Naturally, this experience has developed my passion for helping and assisting people in any way possible, strengthening my teamwork and collaboration skills. Working in hospitality for over two years has allowed me to develop my communication skills, through the engagement with co-workers and customers. I deem these skills as crucial elements that are transferable within the advertising and marketing field, an industry that I have a great interest in and furthermore would feel honoured to work in.

Work/industry experience

During July 2025, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to experience first hand work in the Sales and Marketing department at Insite Energy. This gave me insight on what work was actually done within a company’s marketing department and the importance it plays within any company/business. From designing digital campaigns to carrying out competitor research, my experience at Insite allowed me to truly understand what to expect when working a job within the marketing industry. This experience further drove my passion for wanting to pursue a career within Marketing and Advertising.
