Robert Vann

The 3 Logistics employer's above all handled the export of Jaguar Land Rover parts around the world at some point throughout my 26 year career.

• My career started off in 1999 with Round Peg agency as a packer and in October 2000 I was made permanent with Caterpillar.
• 2002 is when I started picking as well as packing. The vehicles I was trained on were Counter balance both gas and electric, HLOP, and Flyer. In 2012 I had a TUPE transfer over to Neovia.
• In 2016 I moved over to loading. This mainly involved loading 40 foot containers with various size box's.
• In 2018 I was given the role of Dock Team Leader. My team consisted of around 8 people. My main duties were to make sure trailers were loaded on time and correctly as well as organising the team and dealing with any issues.
• As part of the Dock Team in 2020 I was also trained as a transport facilitator which involved invoicing loads and organising drivers coming on and off the docks etc.
• In 2021 I was then given the role of coach. Some of my main duties were Organising holidays, dealing with absences and Incidents, and managing employee's time clock.
• December 2024 I had a TUPE transfer over to Unipart. Since I have been at Unipart I have mainly done project work. The main project I was involved in was the scrap project.
