I am responsible for the Engineering repair and refurbishment of Weinig milling and cnc machinery. I also provide support and materials for fifteen mobile Engineers countrywide. And technical knowledge to develop machine upgrades for customers needs.

Employed to diagnose faults in remote handling equipment.

After implementation of my suggestions , failures have been significantly reduced. I designed jigs and fixtures to accelerate the return to service of broken equipment. Worked in conjunction with local engineering companies , to diagnose production problems, and make design changes as required.

• Worked from drawings assembling equipment in the clean room .
• Diagnosed problems with components and advised changes for assembly. Practiced installation of equipment in the mock up to
• refine installation in the JET machine . Designed and manufactured tools which were used later working in the machine.

• Building high specification carbon fibre components for the Jordan F1 cars.

Laminating, Trimming and fitting of carbon fibre components for Arrows

F1 cars. In charge of Arrows F1 carbon gearbox development .

The complete assembly and testing of engines for Aston Martin , Jaguar and Mazda race teams.

Assembly of gear boxes , pneumatic drives, control equipment.

Steel work and fabrication.

Served a four year apprenticeship and went on to work in skilled production of components for UKAEA Harwell and other local business.
