• Compliance Program Development: Developed a compliance audit for stores to ensure policies and procedures were adhered to and risk was minimised.
• Security & Policy Oversight: Full ownership of external security resources and contractors; responsible for the maintenance and updating of all company policies and procedures relating to risk management. This experience supports the requirement for comprehensive contract management and oversight of physical security measures.
• Investigations and Legal Liaison: Led/overseen all investigations where a risk to the business was identified; liaised with police on criminal investigations and attended court to give evidence.
• Senior Reporting: Produced a comprehensive overview for the Group Board Meetings every month, aligning with the requirement for communicating key consolidated findings and recommendations to Senior Group and Operational Management.

• TPRG Group Loss Prevention Manager (Oct 2015 – Mar 2018): Managed the restructure of LP support, overseeing the implementation of LP training and a complete review of all LP/Audit policies and procedures for consistency and compliance. Stepped in to oversee the Audit Manager and Audit function during a senior absence, demonstrating high-level ownership and flexibility.
• National Loss Prevention Manager (Jan 2007 – Oct 2015): Led the Loss Prevention function for Ryman; formulated and delivered training sessions for all store management focused on reducing shrink through best practice; successfully introduced the ‘Post Audit Meeting’ process to highlight and mitigate risk areas.
• Administration Auditor/Security Officer (Apr 1998 – Feb 2001): Conducted paperwork audits across England and Wales to ensure effective handling of cash and stock per policy, manifesting as a dual role offering security advice and conducting investigations into losses.
