Hard working and skilled race mechanic that has worked in a multitude of race categories consistently pushing myself and my skill set while working my way up over the years to Formula 1 and subsequently becoming a number one mechanic at the pinnacle of motorsports. Im now looking for the next challenge and to also bring my skills and experience to bring to the business and help progress together.

Number 1 Mechanic

  • Work to a high level with a huge focus on the details to produce the highest standards.
  • Lead a team of 3 mechanics to ensure everything is completed to the correct specification and to a high standard of finish, while also co-ordinating with other sub-departments within the race team to make sure the car is completed efficiently and correctly.
  • Working in a very high pressure environment with very tight time constraints.
  • Completing vehicle set up work ensuring the car is in the desired set up condition.
  • Following Procedures and technical directives to sign off all major components.
  • Working with technical drawings to build new components and upgrades.
  • Working around issues and prioritising work based on Importance/Availability of components to meet deadlines.
  • Work closely with Engineering departments to work on future projects and provide practical knowledge to help improve ideas and push the end products quality.
  • Use Leica scanning products to complete component scans and legality work to ensure the car is both legal and all components are where they are expected to be in design.

Race Mechanic

  • Worked through a variety of both British, European and world championships including, British F4, British F3 European F3, FIA F3, GP2, Indy Lights and Asian/European Le mans.
  • Being an integral part of the team design, produce and run the first modified single seater for double amputee Billy Monger in both British F3 and then FIA F3 overcoming all the physical and technical limitations as well as getting both cars approved by the FIA to race in there respective championships.
