  • The college faced closure when I assumed the chairmanship
  • The board resolved to find an alternative, and we have secured £12m to start a new college for Dorset, uniting with Weymouth College
  • We secured a 'good provider' Ofsted inspection
  • We set up a University centre for HE, with support from the Open University and the LEP

  • We installed a ground source heat pump for the main house and glass houses
  • (Grant aided £2.1m)
  • We achieved a £1.2m VAT rebate from HMRC
