I am seeking a new challenge in my working life. I have worked for the past 32 years within the printing industry and now feel it is time for a change. While printing I have been presented with many challenges which include basic engineering/machinery maintenance to administration tasks and general paperwork. I regularly worked 12 hour shifts multiple days a week. This works well in my personal routine as I can rest and follow up the following day with my personal hobbies such as gardening, running and cycling. I have had these hobbies for many years originating from when I used to play amateur football. This was at both at secondary school and at county level. I played all around the country against different teams at various levels and also gained the opportunity to play abroad as well. Since childhood I have found myself to be a team player going as far as being deputy head boy at school. However despite being able to work effectively with others i am also confident enough in my abilities to be left to complete tasks independently. Currently I work in a 4 man team that runs and maintains a komoriu print press. In my current job role I am required to not only run the print press but also interact with the other departments in and around the factory in order to maintain the presses efficiency. Coveris currently employs a wide range of personnel from many different cultural and ethic backgrounds which has allowed me to interact with people from all around the world. This has improved my knowledge and cultural understanding. My time as a lithographic printer has allowed me to develop a strong skill set applicable to a variety of work environments. Now I just need an opportunity to use it.
