I took a Gap year where I gained my BASI level 1 ski instructing certification, which took me 10 weeks to complete in a resort called Val D'isere, where I had to flat with two other strangers, this was my first time properly away from home and helped me to develop my independence. I also went traveling, I went to Australia, Sweden, Switzerland, and finally the UK. I took this Gap year to mature and experience the world, which aided in my very open-minded outlook and helped me develop a sense of independence.
