During my role as bricklayer it was often important to work with my immediate team and upper management to ensure that tasks were completed on time and to the expected standard.
I would have to refer to drawings on a day to day basis making sure that things are being built to the agreed specifications.
During smaller projects I would often be actively involved in the purchasing and surveying pf materials this requires a larger knowledge of the industry and leaves very little margin for error.
Maintaining health and safety standards is a very important practise to ensure yourself and the people you work with are as safe as possible at all times, PPE must always be worn when mandatory and instructed in your rams.
Safely worked at heights up to 30 m working in cherry pickers completing repointing and replacing broken bricks, changing chimney pots, cowlings ect.
Always maintained a high quality in my standard of work in compliance with the building inspector and HSE rules.
Collaborated with team of [Number] to reliably finish projects to schedule.
Prepared areas before starting work making sure footing, walls ect, are set out correctly by the engineer prior to brick work starting.

Sinking piles in the the ground the ensure that the ground in safe and not at risk of sliding and can hold the structure above.
Using rebar shaker to ensure all air is vibrated to the top of the concrete pour before finishing .
