  • Recently began doing unpaid work for Super Power Agency, a literacy charity which sets up creative writing programmes across various schools in Edinburgh
  • Attend classes as volunteer mentor and supervise students aged between 10 and 14 to work on writing fictional stories
  • Gained experience in working with children - collectively and individually - and finding new, inventive ways to help each child engage with the class
  • Have supported children with learning difficulties - i.e. dyslexia - so that they can achieve goals without disadvantaged
  • Have developed ability to handle big groups of students and create right environment for learning; engaging kids with interesting tasks and encouraging them to explore it freely

  • Awarded research placement at AGA during postgraduate degree.
  • Main project focused on researching murals crafted by well-known writer and artist, Alasdair Gray, in west end of Glasgow
  • Six murals covered, each one explored for information on origin, design, impact, etc.
  • Information came from many sources, most notably through interviews conducted personally with close acquaintances of Gray
  • End result was six rounded narratives written in form of a guide, intended for use as part of a virtual walking tour created by the Archive
