I originally started as a KP this is where I learnt basic skills like vat packing and straining liquids from foods. This also told me how to work hard and how to maintain a kitchen at a high standard.
In March 2022 I progressed into doing back of house work were I learnt a broad range of bar skills like how to pour a pint, how to make cocktails along with how to make different coffee's. This also really helped me improve my social skills.
Then in May 2023 I began doing front of house work in the main restaurant this told me how to manage very stressful situations like how to deal with rowdy customers and how to fix mistakes. This helped me push my social skills even further with communicating with deaf people which I learnt sign language to understand and communicate with them. Being front of house for almost 2 years now I have developed a lot of knowledge towards food and what goes into making every dish.
