During my employment I have developed strong experience in product assembly, working accurately from work instructions, drawings and sub‑assembly documentation. Skilled in packing and dispatch, ensuring all goods are prepared to a high standard and ready for customer delivery. Working confidently within operations, safely moving component and finished goods across production areas.
Utilising hand tools, power tools, jigs and production machinery safely and effectively, carrying out quality checks to make sure products meet required standards. Always following all Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work, always maintaining excellent housekeeping and standards to keeping work areas clean and organised.

I complete stock, assembly and dispatch documentation accurately, including IT entries for dispatch. Working well as part of a team, communicating clearly and supporting colleagues to meet targets. I manage my time highly effectively and consistently exceed production schedules/expectations while working efficiently under pressure.

Primarily responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of ConRo and container vessels. Always demonstrating exceptional spatial awareness, constant situational observation and strict adherence to company SOPs, port regulations and safety standards. Operated in a high‑intensity environment where safety is an absolute. Maintained working knowledge of PUWER and LOLER, continuously assessing and calculating risk while performing tasks.

On the whole this was physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, working at height and manual handling. Comfortable working outdoors and in any weather conditions, while still performing multiple tasks simultaneously and maintaining accuracy, organisation and focus. Working collaboratively as part of a highly coordinated team, using verbal communication, radio communication and hand signals to ensure safe and efficient operations. Maintained constant awareness of all personnel and equipment in the work areas. Capable of switching between tasks quickly and effectively to meet operational demands.

Responsible for housekeeping on vessels and within port areas. Carrying out additional routine duties as required, including general cleaning, van driving and other tasks necessary to support port operations.
