A dedicated Literacy Specialist with extensive expertise, and passion for RWInc Reading, delivering significant results in challenging environments. Proficient in online subscription management and RWInc teaching, with a strong track record of training school staff and trust members. Skilled in data analysis of reading metrics and fostering a culture of reading for pleasure. Experienced as a class teacher, ECT mentor, and leader in oracy, computing, PE, and safeguarding. Recently set up a Trust RWInc Plan for St Christopher's Trust, working to raise expectations to enable ALL children to read. Committed to mentoring leadership and coaching through incremental coaching training to ensure every child achieves reading success.

• Alongside my current roles, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am fortunate to have two amazing daughters: Persephone and Ophelia. We love sharing in their love of reading – at the moment they are fascinated with some of Enid Blyton’s novels and picture books from Rachel Bright. At the weekends, you can often find us heading down to the beach or up on to Dartmoor. I am also a keen sportsman and enjoy playing football or a round of golf – although my wife, Laura, says golf is just a good walk spoiled!
