Procurement And Construction of Flowlines and Wellhead Installations at Sqm (Package-2, Part-1)

Responsibilities:

• Installation and commissioning of Well head control panel (WHCP)
• Installation and function test of Marshalling cabinet, system cabinet & RTU
• Pre commissioning and commissioning of Oil producing wells
• Preparation of control narratives, Risk assessments, and field modification drawings
• Performing engineering analysis and selection of instrumentation components
• Ensure the work is executed in accordance with company, department and project procedures and within the project schedule and budgets
• Assist the consultant in the development of instrument design basis for projects
• Prepare and provide engineering input to design drawings and coordinate with consultant in the generation of drawings
• Review/check drawings produced in accordance with company procedures and/or work instructions
• Calibration, loop checking and functional testing of different transmitters, F&G devices
• Procurement of different instruments and systems
• Execution of instrumentation construction activities.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of Instrumentation construction, precommisioning and commissioning of above projects in different sites of Petroleum Development of Oman(PDO) Sultanate of Oman
• Co- ordination of all manpower, equipment and materials supply towards the proper completion of work on schedule
• Review all engineering design drawings of project before passing them for use
• Review of P&ID, instrument index, specification and datasheet for field instruments like flow/level/temperature/pressure instrument etc.
• Installation and commissioning of different type of HART & FIELDBUS instruments
• Calibration of different types of transmitters, control valves, Vibration System
• Installation and commissioning of rotating machineries like DWD pumps and Booster pumps (SULZER), Instrument air compressors (KAESER)
• Monitor project at each stage of the work to ensure proper compliance with all technical aspects
• Follow PDO Permit to work (PTW) system
• Scheduling shutdown activities and resource allocation
• Perform immediate solution and action for minor problems on site
• Discuss and resolve daily site problems with site Team
• Monitor construction progress on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and provide input to the regular reports for the Project Manager
• Ensure all Project activities were complying with international and client standards
• Making sure all engineering/construction works are fit for purpose, project timescales and ensure the activities are controlled as per approved ITP
• Writing reports and giving presentations to managers and clients.
• Review and approve vendor documents for incorporation into design and co-ordination with other disciplines

• Implementation of preventive maintenance schedule for zero break down operation
• Planning required up gradation for instruments to achieve production quality and cost minimizing
