These patients have variety of needs which adds variety of and complexity to the role. Examples of such are daily insulin support, wound care, venepuncture, palliative care and bowel and incontinence management.

  • My experience as a nurse was enhanced when I was detailed in the City Health Office in 2019. During the pandemic, I was assigned as the facility manager of the city's Covid-19 Isolation Facility handling confirmed and suspected cases of Covid-19. After the pandemic, I was put in-charge of the Outpatient Department and a Mental Health Program Coordinator of the City Health Office providing primary care services.
