I currently help out on jobs if I am needed on some days helping out with my step-dad and his employer on different landscaping jobs. On the job, I am happy to help wherever and whenever I am needed. This is to make my co-workers job easier when I can make it, and make the customer happy with what job has been done.

During my time at Taylors I was responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety by making sure surfaces were disinfected, and that the raw foods were kept separate from cooked foods. This was to ensure that all customers were kept safe in compliance with health regulations. I would also keep the shop clean and tidy, meaning customers felt like they were shopping in a friendly and reliable space.

A few things that I did during my time were:

• I would great every customer with a smile, and I was always happy to serve anyone who came into the shop, this allowed me to create a strong rapport with many regular customers.
• Collaborated effectively with team members during busy periods. Having good chemistry with the manager and other staff members.
• I was also happy to work whatever hours were offered to me.
• Handled queries regarding products, providing detailed information as necessary.
• Completed opening and closing duties in line with established schedule.
• Totalled bills using maths skills and maintained accurate till count.

During my work experience here, I helped the PE teachers organise training drills and activities for the students. Making sure that all drills and activities were made safe and enjoyable for the students to learn and have fun, while also learning for myself. It also gave me a feel of the workplace and building a rapport with colleagues.

During my time at the barbers shop, I would help the two barbers during the day to ensure the shop was ran smoothly and that they could focus on cutting hair while the shop was clean and customers were happy.

• I would brush up the hair left on the floor after every haircut,
• I would keep mirrors and windows clean,
• I would mop the shop floor at the end of the day to make sure the shop floor was kept clean the following day upon opening,
• I would also clean any other surfaces around the shop to make customers feel comfortable when coming into the shop
