I’m a motivated individual who has recently completed my A-Levels and am eager to start work. Quick learner with a strong interest in sales and customer service. I’m confident in my communication skills, well-organised, and able to solve problems independently. I’m also comfortable using technology and social media, with creative experience in content creation and basic video editing.
I undertook work experience at a property development firm in London, this gave me invaluable insights into investment decision-making and financial analysis within the real estate sector. I learned from the CEO how he handles fiscal responsibilities and evaluates potential investments in order to strengthen the firms’ holdings. I worked closely with an employee specialising in growth strategies, assisting in financial forecasting and investment appraisals for various development projects. As well as this I got on site experience conducting field evaluations and assessing what could potentially make an investment not only profitable but sustainable for the future. This experience helped me to learn the importance of punctuality, organisation and professionalism as well as the interpersonal skills needed within a professional environment.
I worked as a delivery driver for Evri, where I developed key skills in time management, logistics, and customer service. My responsibilities included planning efficient delivery routes (resulting in reduced fuel cost), managing a high volume of packages (as well as handling fragile items carefully, resulting in zero damage complaints), and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries across various locations. This role required a high degree of independence and accountability, as I was trusted to represent the company while interacting directly with customers. I regularly resolved unexpected issues on the job, such as delays or address discrepancies, which strengthened my problem-solving abilities under pressure. Through this experience, I honed my organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment—qualities that are directly transferable to roles within sales and customer-facing industries.
Last summer, just two days after passing my driving test, I planned and completed an eight-day, 2,500 mile wild camping road trip to the North East of Scotland with my twin brother. This experience taught me valuable skills such as self-sufficiency, planning, and adaptability, all of which I continue to apply in both personal and professional settings.
