Regional Online Fleet Specialist

Returned back to Morrisons Online following the seconded role to this new role of Fleet Manager to South.

  • Brand new role focusing on the South 52 Home Delivery Operations to build capability in stores regarding performance management of all things relating to our fleet of vehicles.
  • Period on Period increase of performance investigations and disciplinaries due to engagement, coaching and following up with all levels of store management.
  • Multiple processes put in place to Increase capability of Online Manager and drivers to drive down ever growing van costs. Including Investigation and Disciplinary flow charts, guidance, outcome potentials and coaching tools to minimise any risk of appeal and tribunal claims.

I took on this Regional role to support and oversee the growth of Morrison's Online business in response to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

  • Successfully opened over 200 brand new operations spanning over 11 regions within the South of the UK.
  • Effectively manager 47 stores over 2 regions to deliver a consistent and exceptional customer experience, leading with vision and passion to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leading my team to delivery company KPI's through use of store visits, conference calls, meetings and one to one coaching.
  • As regional manager for all Home Delivery operations, I am the main contact for training, coaching and expertise.
  • Took lead to implement an extensive vehicle swap over program from Hired vehicles to branded vans, reducing costs that we were accruing from the use of Hired Vehicles.
  • Created relationships with Vendors and the wider business to enhance driver safety, driver recruitment and to lower fleet costs inline with P&L budgets. I.e. Fleet Team, Drivetech, Zenith & Paneltex.
