  • Building and designing exhibition stands, constructing cladding panels, measuring and decorating panels with great attention to detail, applying/removing de-call's, using workshop appliances such as drills, saws, grinders and nail guns
  • 2Build is a professional, large family run business working with large names such as Samsung
  • I would have to travel all around the UK for week releases at a time - during this period i would sometimes have to work 12 hour night shifts in order to ensure the work was completed to the high quality standard that 2Build represent
  • A large part of my role was to load and unload the delivery lorries correctly following procedures as well as manoeuvring the forklift
  • Building the components that participate in building the complete stands were extremely complex - I had to pay great attention to detail during the finishing process of building and accommodating the stands
  • I worked with metal, wood and ply wood as well as many other different types of materials - many of which had to be shaped and cut to a wide variety
  • I acknowledged and learned numerous substances within the work place of which I took great interest in
  • I worked to my highest potential and pushed myself to the absolute limit when it came to getting the stands ready
  • I had to comply with health and safety regulations working in this classification of workshop environment and I perused this correctly
  • To conclude, I am confident in the work I achieved at 2Build and learned a great amount about scheduling and prioritising my work to meet specific deadlines
  • I also learned about keeping my energy levels up to comply with the great amount of lifting and physical work involved with loading the lorries and lifting the stands
  • My attention to detail improved greatly as did my enthusiasm with working with tools such as drills and grinders.

  • I enjoyed the environment that I worked in and to pursue this once there was a full time vacancy open within the company
  • On a day to day basis, I was trusted to test drive customers cars as well as drop off and pick up customers who were unable to wait for repairs
  • This taught me how important trust is within a company
  • I would have to diagnose and order relevant parts as accordingly
  • I would also have some face to face contact with customers who had minor issues of which i would complete work under my own good will
  • I had to ensure that all the correct procedure's were carried out when getting in and out of a customer's car - such as wearing disposable gloves, shoe covers and seat covers to respect the customer's demands
  • An important part of my role was to keep all workshop tools in order and to return them to their designated place wthin the workshop
