As a proven expert, Richard advises companies within the cruise industry as well as investors.
In 2014 he was awarded by the German Travel Industry Club for “Travel Industry Manager of the Year” and “Hamburg Cruise manager of the year”.
He was also Chairman of the Shipping Committee of the German Travel Agents and Tour Operators Association from 1998 to 2004 and from 2012 to 2014
