Responsible for the installation, management and support of all Post Production systems involved in the media creation process, from studio acquisition, media ingest, offline/online edit, colour grading, dubbing, AQC and final delivery of DPP compliant media into the ITV delivery platform.

Proficient in networking topologies and switch configuration for Post Production environments.

Implementation and management of remote access systems to facilitate off-site edit and viewing requirements.

To provide training and guidance within Post Production on Media Management and workflow best practice.

To take ownership of technical incidents and follow through to a complete resolution, ensuring the smooth running of all technical aspects of the Emmerdale production including cameras, lighting, sound, talkback and the Post Production IT infrastructure, becoming the Lead Post Production Engineer in 2018.

Maintained accurate documentation of support requests, solutions, and equipment configurations.

Involved in the planning and implementation of new HD facilities within Leeds Television Centre.

Designed the workflow to enable Emmerdale to be the first programme created for file based transmission.

Testing and implementation of remote edit solutions to provide accessibility during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Conducted routine and preventative maintenance to equipment used in television production, down to component level, to ensure system reliability.

Provided technical support to Post Production staff on Avid Media Composer, Unity, Final Cut Studio and XSAN.

Design and support HD and SD workflows for Post Production, based on the delivery requirements of the project.

Responsible for organising long-term backup strategies for media archiving.
