I worked as a police officer for 23 years and I retired in December 2024. I have great interpersonal skills and I am resilient, smart and punctual. I am not necessarily looking for a position as a leader or manager but I am happy to accept a degree of responsibility. I have a full, clean UK driving licence.
Energetic employee well-versed in strong communication and organisation skills. Seeks solutions to problems and applies extensive analytical knowledge to findings. Adept at multi-tasking, leading group discussions and managing projects.
As Operations Controller I monitor the daily arrivals and departures, ensuring that both our Guest Experience and ramp team are aware of all movements and ready to provide services. The operations team, of which I am the lead, book in our flights, arrange transport and catering services. I book the air traffic slots and ensure that all of our reservations are replicated in the airport and air traffic systems. I also monitor and deal with the busy email inbox and help our guests and customers via telephone and email. I have expanded my skills and have an apron driving permit so I am able to meet flights and assist our guests through arrivals formalities. I have full, unescorted airside access. My position has been moved to a zero-hours contract, so I am looking for potential new opportunities.
I served with Hertfordshire Constabulary for two years, having previously been with the Metropolitan Police for 21 years. I retired in December 2024. I spent most of my career as a Sergeant and have worked on response teams, in the control room, on a safer neighbourhood team and as a domestic violence investigator. I have been responsible for managing teams of 40+ officers and civilian staff including rostering and yearly development reviews.
I worked on both long haul and short haul fleets at Heathrow Airport. I was First Class trained.
I was previously a senior crew member at easyJet and Dan Air. I have more than 9 years of flying experience.
