I decided to try out being self employed and was very successful getting jobs and carrying out every job to a high standard referencing to up to date building regulations.

in my time being self employed I have knowledge

pricing up materials and quantities for clients .

making drawings and ideas for clients and coming up with solutions.

I have good communication skills with clients and work piers. I can work as a team confidently and effectively.

I have great knowledge of products I use and how to use them.

I understand how important deadlines are and do my best to meet them I happily work 7 days a week including bank holidays

my scope of works since I started are brickwork, blockwork, stonework, patios, repointing, patio restoration, lintel and steel instalments , footings and concreting and stone cladding

I started out on persimmon sites as a bricklayer with a company building timber frame homes , and large garden walls and doing band courses

I've worked on cardo sites in tylerstown constructing homes built with prefaced stonework

I have worked on residential and commercial sites across Wales

caring out building work since I left school 4 years ago

I first started out labouring when I was an apprentice labouring for a gang of bricklayers and carpenters absorbing every bit of information I was instructed to do and got into good habits of doing things.

this includes preparing various types of mixes such as mortar, concrete mixes, lime mortar, plaster, patio mixes , tile adhesive, grout

I started of carrying out simple tasks such as keeping work areas clean and safe to work in, stacking out preparing work areas , doing material stock counts, arranging material deliveries with merchants , and having good knowledge of which products to use and when to use them.

I then progressed to bricklaying/blockwork/stonework/stone dressing and built my skills up over time and being confidently able to work independently

doing retaining walls , garden walls , face brickwork, , digging out footings and then concreting them , repointing , natural stone patios
