MSc Dissertation: Shores in peril; assessing the vulnerability of northern Bay of Bengal to Sea Level Rise.
- Researched effects of climate change, sea level rise and impact of sea level rise among coastal regions around the world.
- Collected tidal data, past flooding scenarios and other necessary literature regarding the research location.
- Used TELEMAC-2D hydraulic modelling software to create a 2D mesh for simulating various sea level rise scenarios.
- Analysed the effects of sea level rise on various regions of Northern coasts of bay of Bengal and provided risk mitigation and adaptaion strategies.
Bachelor's final year project: Design of Passenger overpasses to Aid pedestrian crossing in Trivandrum City.
- Studied traffic flow and conducted traffic surveys among the busiest roads within Trivandrum city.
- Analysed traffic data and selected locations where pedestrian safety was at risk.
