I am currently a second-year student at Loughborough University, pursuing a degree in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying. My choice to study this course is driven by a deep interest in the built environment and a keen desire to understand the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. I find the dynamic realm of property and infrastructure development particularly engaging, and I believe my analytical mindset and strong attention to detail equip me well for success in this field. As a course representative, I have developed effective communication and leadership skills by actively gathering and presenting feedback to support course enhancements. My work experience spans client-facing roles in retail and hospitality, as well as auditing, which has strengthened my ability to perform under pressure while delivering outstanding service in fast-paced environments. While at Darts Farm, I broadened my skill set by working in both the retail and kitchen teams, further enhancing my customer service, communication, and multitasking abilities. In addition, I have competed at a national level as a road cyclist, representing one of the top teams in the South West. This experience has instilled in me a strong sense of discipline, goal-oriented training, and resilience. It has also helped me develop essential skills in teamwork and strategic thinking, which are highly applicable in a professional setting. I am ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to apply my skills while gaining practical experience in commercial management and quantity surveying. In my free time, I enjoy participating in various sports, which keep me active and motivated.
