  • Produced multiple OLE layouts to accommodate the different track options whilst working closely with the various disciplines to produce a fully integrated systems design.
  • The OLE options required coordination with multiple disciplines and using his project management background he was able to produce a robust integrated design including signals, civils, mechanical and electrical while taking cognizance of construction staging and future maintenance requirements.

  • Working with the network rail west coast maintenance team to replace existing Mark 1 cantilevers with the earthed type cantilevers to check suitable clearance is achieved from standing surface to live part of the OLE as per the GL/RT 1210.
  • Producing a Form A / B inclusive of drawings which was accepted by the RAM.
  • Due to the system height constraints through the area the basic cantilevers design had to be modified to be allocated on the project.
  • Utilised Bentley Micro station CAD software to create the updated basic design designs.
