As the procurement team leader I lead a team of 5 and report directly to multiple stakeholders within the business namely the procurement manager, operations manager and finance director

My role requires me to closely liaise with my team members and other managers within the business including service and repair contract managers, installation contract managers and renewable mangers as well as engineers and surveyors out in the field

My duties include

• Raising purchase orders for both breakdown & installation materials
• Liaising with breakdown engineers to find solutions to reactive issues
• Working alongside installation contract managers to best plan planned installation works
• Sourcing and providing surveyors and managers with accurate materials pricing and quotes to submit to customers and housing associations
• Negotiating rebates with suppliers and manufacturers and relaying this information to stakeholders
• Performing quarterly and year end stock takes for the finance director
• Working alongside housing association compliance managers to comprise van stocks for engineers to increase first time fix rates
• Accurately bill materials on the correct contracts and work with finance to come up with best practices and assist with any invoice queries
• Lead a team of 5 procurement assistants to ensure all day to day tasks, reactive and planned are complete and ensure the procurement team meets the businesses objectives

During my time in this role the business has made multiple acquisitions and the procurement for all businesses and contracts within the group have been centralised to myself and the team, I have been successful in achieving significant cost saving measures specifically in the renewable department. I have helped manage the team to approximately 300 service and repair orders a day and circa 50 install kits a day with an average spend of £3 million a month

As Trade supervisor for the newly opened Kirkby branch it was my responsibility to grow the counter. As part of my role to do this it was my duty to forge relationships with customers and companies. This entailed assisting customers with quotes for bigger jobs such as boiler installations and also helping customers and companies monitor their credit accounts with us by assisting them in setting one up and monitoring their limits and helping them get higher limits when needed. I was also responsible for making sure we hit and often exceeded our sales targets. It was also my duty to help train and bring up to speed new staff for the trade sales counter as we operate differently to the normal sales counter. This allowed us to become a top 20% trade sales counter within the business within 18 months of opening.

• Accountant tasked with prepping, filling and completing tax returns
• As part of my role, I had to frequently contact HMRC in order to confirm technical details about my clients such as accurate P11D figures and to monitor and adjust their tax code when necessary
• As a junior accountant I also frequently helped senior accountants by prepping their work ready for client calls, my duties also often included assisting with general admin and helping keep all company ledgers and excel sheets up to date
• I also frequently liaised with the social media marketing team to plan marketing posts around clients we had recently completed work for.

• Warehouse operative tasked with ensuring all parcels are correctly unloaded, processed and labelled, process lead for ‘Light and Large' parcel division tasked with making sure all ‘L&L' parcels are processed correctly on the system and packaged correctly ready to be delivered and diverted.

• Personnel Shopper to International sport stars and Tv personality's, such as Paul Pogba, Trent Alexander Arnold and Kem Cetinay
• Sourcing hard to find high end fashion items from high end designers such as Givenchy, Off White, Balenciaga and Rolex and then dispatching around the globe
• Communicating via all social media platforms.
