  • 1. As a research nurse, I have provided specialist research and clinical care to research participants depending on their individual needs. I have worked as a lead nurse for several phase1 to observational studies and actively participated in setting up of all these studies. I had several opportunities to attend costing meetings, feasibility meetings and worked on clinical study set up tool for both commercial and non commercial studies. Also, got trained on the study intensity tool and worked on the tools for several studies, supported junior staff and colleagues in getting trained on the tool. In my job role, I have pre-screened eligible patients from various clinic outpatient lists and able to recruit participants according to their eligibility including the control groups, successfully reached time to target in the given period of time. I am also trained to work on several complex cognitive assessment rating scales.

I have also actively involved in assisting all my participants in research protocols and methodologies in order to facilitate receiving informed consent in accordance with ICH/GCP and the UK Policy Framework in Health and Social care. I also provide discharge and follow-up advice to study participants also by attending to their emails and phone calls.
