Summary

As a dedicated individual, with a set of core values, kindness, dedication and boldness, I am driven to deliver high-quality service and consistent results, placing patients at the centre of care. By undertaking this new role and harnessing interpersonal, collaboration and problem-solving skills I hope to make a strong and positive impact. Growing both personally, and professional as I set a new path in my career.

I hope to create and contribute to the making of Pharmaceutical and Veterinary specials which have been custom-made to meet the unique needs of patients whilst performing good manufacturing practices. Through, the optimisation and compliance of the production processes, ensuring that regulatory standards are meet at all times to produce goods that are of good quality, safety and efficacy. I would like to be actively a part in the research, design, development and enhancement of drug formulations and manufacturing of products.

During my training year, I completed an asthma AUDIT regarding patients using 3 or more bronchodilator in a 6-month period and patients between the ages of 5 and 15 years to see if they are using a spacer. I demonstrated excellent communication skills to patient and colleagues, and was able to identify patients who required more support in managing their asthma, resulting in these patients being referred to their GP.

Appropriate documentation and note taking is essential to reduce harm to patients, irrespective of the pharmacy sector. This aids in the audit trail and communication which is not only verbal but written. An example of note taking is whilst working Knights Pharmacy added important information on the PMR. For instance, regarding the patient’s medication preferences. At knights pharmacy I have engaged people for the NMS, which required me to request consent from the patient and documenting the evidence. I desire a full-time job with set working hours, so I can adapt successfully to changing situations and environments. I’m flexible with my working hours. I’ve dealt well in stressful situations, while working at Lloyds and Knights Pharmacy, managing multiple tasks.

I can receive both positive and constructive feedback. It gives me both clarity of what is expected and enhances my work performance and subsequently patient outcomes and quality of life. Throughout my work experience at Eastbourne Hospital, I received feedback from several pharmacist regarding my presentation which I still be remember and I know will help in the future as a pharmacist. I also given out feedback to peers to support their professional growth.

In conclusion, I believe my experiences and motivation to learn makes me an asset. I hope to gain a solid foundation in pharmaceutical sciences combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I am knowledgeable about patient care and medication management, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities. I'm ready to use and develop skills in pharmaceutical research, regulatory compliance, and quality control in industry pharmacist role.
