As a receptionist at the front of house I can appreciate the diversity of such a delicate environment such as a veterinary waiting room. Over the years i began to establish friendly and working relationships with many clients building recognisable bonds with their pets as well as ensuring fine attention to detail when it came to accommodating for their needs. Whether that be providing a tissue and a glass of water at the most difficult times or simply helping to lift a large breed dog into a vehicle for an elderly client, I had to work under pressure and was able to effectively communicate with other colleagues to ensure smooth customer interactions. As I progressed within my role and my passion grew, I asked to get more involved and wanted to take on more duty within the clinic. I have always been passionate about wildlife and supporting injured or stray animals therefore I started to assist in the daily maintenance of the clinics wildlife which involved cleaning, providing food and water, and ensuring animals got relevant medication which also entailed accurate and detailed record keeping.
