I worked as an apprentice joiner for my dads company from July 2023 - August 2025. My daily tasks consisted of loading and unloading tools and materials (dependent of the task for the day.) I also assisted on every project learning the process of carpentry / joinery, teamwork and communication skills with the customer to ensure a final product we were proud to stand by and also pleasing the customer in the process. Some examples of what we would do are as follows: entire kitchen instalments, assembling and installing stairs, installing dry wall and insulation and fence instalments just to name the main productivity of the job. I left the company at the very end of august 2025 as the business closed down and have since taken the time to start weekly driving lessons as of June 2025 as i think it would be beneficial for me to be able to drive.
