Summary

I am a dedicated teaching professional with excellent knowledge in lesson and activity planning, safeguarding awareness and child behaviour management. Although I have been absent from teaching in recent years, I still obtain good curriculum knowledge and understand the need to monitor and assess to continuously meet each child's diverse needs. Child centred learning with a focus on the outdoors is of real interest to me. And also how the importance of handling books and reading to and with children from a young age helps to enhance their learning as they grow.

Interests

With two teenagers and a pug in the house, free time is definitely of a premium! However I  do enjoy going to music events and concerts. Take That have been a passion of mine since my teen years! My daughter has  introduced me to many new artists also. I regularly attend the gym to keep my fitness in check. Reading regularly is also something I enjoy. I mainly choose fiction but in terms of genre I am open to most styles and find it an excellent way to relax and escape to hecticness of everyday life.
