Rebecca's passion for filmmaking was ignited during the Covid 19 pandemic when she began creating wildlife films with her father in their garden. Despite the challenges of lockdown, the duo managed to produce three award-winning wildlife documentaries. This experience sparked a deep-seated desire within Rebecca to pursue a career in filmmaking.
While studying for her BA in Art and Design, Rebecca decided to incorporate her passion for film into her coursework. This decision led her to create a western film that went on to win 50 awards and was later released on DVD in 2023. Subsequently, she pursued a MA in Filmmaking at Sheffield Hallam University, where she graduated with a first-class honors.
Rebecca has already established herself as a talented filmmaker, having produced several award-winning short films and worked as a Location Marshall on the popular show "Meet the Richardsons." She is now actively seeking new opportunities to advance her career within the film and television industry.

The Penistone Agricultural Show is a beloved community event that has been organized and staffed by volunteers from our community for 150 years! As a photographer at the show, I had the privilege of capturing memorable moments from the event. My photographs were subsequently featured on their social media platforms and website, showcasing the highlights of the show to a wider audience.
The Sheffield Children's Hospital exhibition, located in Crystal Peaks shopping centre, showcased the Art For All collection. This collection featured specially commissioned works by over 60 celebrities and creatives with connections to South Yorkshire and beyond. Notable contributors included Olympic legend Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, radio and TV presenters Paulette Edwards and Tom Ingall, and comedians Jon Richardson and Paul Chuckle.
The exhibition successfully raised over £4,000 for the Bright Young Dreams campaign in support of The Children's Hospital Charity.
In my role as the event photographer, I was responsible for capturing images of the exhibition. I submitted some of my photographs for consideration and also generously donated one to the hospital, which I had professionally printed and framed.
The Dragon Boat Race was a charity event held at Manvers Lake. My responsibility was to capture photographs and videos of the Pacy & Wheatley Construction team. These visuals were utilised on the Pacy & Wheatley Construction team's Facebook page and served as a nostalgic reminder for the members who participated in the charity event.
Barnsley Football Club is a professional football club located in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England. The club competes in EFL League One, which is the third tier of the English football league system.
During my time at Barnsley Football Club, my responsibilities included capturing footage of matches and creating match highlights. This involved editing the footage to produce concise 3-minute packages.
In addition to working on match highlights, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the under-21s and the under-18s teams at Barnsley Football Club. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into the development of young players within the club.
Overall, my time at Barnsley Football Club provided me with a unique opportunity to contribute to the club's media content while also gaining experience working with talented young players.
During my time at Sheffield DocFest, I collaborated with the venue crew. In this role, I was responsible for scanning attendees' tickets and escorting them to their seats. Additionally, I assisted guests with any inquiries they had.
Working on "Meet the Richardsons" has definitely been one of the highlights of my career as a creative professional. In my role as a Location Marshall, I have been involved in a variety of tasks such as assisting the team with the day-to-day operations of the film set and unit base, moving equipment, providing and setting up protection for various departments, maintaining cleanliness on set, and informing the public about the production. I even had the opportunity to spend time with Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont.
Furthermore, I was fortunate enough to appear on the TV program as an extra and even as a featured extra. This experience has been incredibly rewarding and has allowed me to further develop my skills in the film industry.
My film "Regeneration" has won multiple awards at various film festivals worldwide and has been screened at prestigious venues such as Mexborough Market, Bluebell Inn, Cineworld Barnsley, RSPB Old Moor, Parkway Cinema, Highgate Club, National Coal Mining Museum, New York Stadium, Wentworth Woodhouse, Pleasley Pit Mining Museum, as well as local schools and care homes.
"Regeneration" has also been released on DVD and achieved the impressive feat of reaching number 9 in the best-selling documentary category on Amazon.
