- providing governors with expert advice on governance, procedures and compliance and directly contributing to its efficient conduct
- ensuring boards meet the administrative and procedural requirements and enabling efficient and effective discussion and decision making
- responsibility for record keeping of the board, both within school and within the Edsential systems
- routine and essential administrative support for the governing body – including planning governing body business and reporting progress on the implementation of decisions
