• Ongoing participation in audits re. long length of stay
• Completing initial and functional assessments, including seating assessments
• Completing cognitive assessments (standardised and in function)
• Providing neuro rehab as indicated
• Discharge planning and identifying appropriate discharge pathways, and completing appropriate referrals
• Being an active member of the MDT and participating in MDMs
• Providing supervision for junior staff members
• Providing in service training
• Attended training in spinal cord injury management, PDoC and upper limb management

• Rotational Band 6 post
• Experience of: acute medicine, emergency medicine, major trauma and orthopaedics, cardiology and respiratory
• Completing initial and functional assessments, including seating assessments
• Completing cognitive assessments (standardised and in function)
• Discharge planning and identifying appropriate discharge pathways
• Being an active member of the MDT and participating in MDMs
• Service development projects
• Providing supervision for junior staff members

• Rotational Band 6 Post
• Experience of acute general medicine, elderly care, stroke
• Completing initial and functional assessments, including seating assessments
• Completing cognitive assessments (standardised and in function)
• Discharge planning and identifying appropriate discharge pathways
• Being an active member of the MDT and participating in MDMs
• Service development projects
• Providing supervision for junior staff members

• Covering stroke units (hyper acute and acute units)
• Completing neuro assessments
• Completing initial and functional assessments
• Completing cognitive assessments (standardised and in function)
• Discharge planning and identifying appropriate discharge pathways
• Ongoing stroke rehabilitation as indicated
• Being an active member of the MDT and participating in MDMs.
