Responsibilities

  • Prepare the development, structure, format and content of the tender in compliance with OneSubsea's mandatory processes and procedures and in accordance with the customer's instructions.
  • Obtain an agreed tender strategy at the Gate B Review meeting and communicate this to the extended tender team at a bid kick-off meeting.
  • Prepare a tender activity plan to ensure tender is complete within the required deadline.
  • Delegate workload to the assigned tender management team as required and monitor progress.
  • Perform specific tender management tasks assigned by the lead Tender Manager.
  • Identify all input needed to complete tender and ensure Requests for Input are issued to the responsible parties.
  • Monitor progress of the requested input and take ownership for resolving conflicts/issues that arise.
  • Develop a commercial strategy for the project in conjunction with the Commercial Manager and the Sales Account Manager.
  • Develop a project execution strategy in conjunction with the Regional General Manager.
  • Take the lead role in obtaining the necessary approvals at the various stages of the tender cycle.
  • Perform reviews of the tender deliverables and seek amendments where necessary.
  • Act as the formal point of contact with the client during the tender clarification phase and lead the OneSubsea team at any customer clarification meetings.
  • Take the lead role in preparing the handover package to the Project Execution Team.
