During secondary school I was appointed as a prefect, this helped me further my leadership roles as I had to lead a team of my fellow students and help new first year students get settled into secondary school. This helped my confidence immensely as I was able to see the difference my leadership was making on others around me.

• During my spare time I like to go to the gym. Working out helps me stay motivated throughout the day and allows me to focus more.
• I also like to cook and bake different foods from around the world. for example I like to make curries for my family when I am home from university.
• Travelling is also a hobby of mine as I love seeing different architecture and culture from around the world. Last year I visited New York for 4 days with my family where we explored Staten Island and Central Park.

Currently I am studying at the University of Aberdeen. I am doing my degree in Business and Legal Studies, I have just completed semester 1 in which I completed courses in Economics, Business Management, Legal Systems and Private Law. Doing these courses has given me a which wider perspective on education. I love to learn, and being able to listen to experts talk about these subjects helps me apply it to my own individual learning.
