Responsible for underwriting, structuring, and managing asset-based lending (ABL) term loan facilities to companies in EMEA, which includes:

• Negotiating term sheets, loan documentation, inter-creditor/AAL agreements and working closely with internal and external legal counsel
• Monitoring borrower/loan/collateral performance to identify areas of risk
• Preparing and presenting monthly portfolio updates to business division heads and to Gordon Brothers (GB) Investment Committee
• Supporting and training more junior team members
• Building networks and identifying additional revenue opportunities for GB

Highlights:

• Deal lead on secondary debt purchase and refinance of UK plc, which generated significant amount of revenue for GB
• Contributed to GB's portfolio growth in EMEA, which has doubled over last two years and has generated significant amount of revenue for GB
• Key deal team member of two brand/intellectual property (IP) loans for two well-known UK brands (including public to private transaction)
• Recommended changes to GB's Investment committee memos (new deal memos and portfolio memos/reporting) to improve reporting to stakeholders and GB's credit process.

ABL and Leverage Lending, responsible for underwriting, structuring senior debt facilities to companies in Europe and USA:

• Assisted with negotiating term sheets, credit agreements, inter-creditor agreements and worked closely with internal and external legal counsel
• Built relationships with UK Asset Valuation firms, UK Debt Advisory, Accountancy and Private Equity Firms

Highlights:

• Key member of deal team providing over £650 million of ABL facilities to refinance or fund acquisitions/MBO of UK SME's
• Key member of deal team providing over £120 million of combined ABL/Leverage offering using PNC US balance sheet
• Two deals underwritten with combined ABL/Senior of up to 5x leverage.

Credit Analyst, Corporate Lending, responsibilities included:

• Completing financial and company analysis, attending analyst presentations, writing credit committee reports, financial modelling, reviewing legal documentation, checking covenant compliance, and completing periodic reviews.

ABL lending, responsible for underwriting, structuring and managing ABL facilities to companies in Europe:

• Head team analyst role involved training and mentoring of new team members, managing analyst team's workflow and presenting new deals at Credit Committee
• Worked closely with Landsbanki's Leverage Finance team to provide Senior and Mezzanine debt to tailor make financing packages to meet client needs generating additional fee income for wider Bank.

Senior Credit Analyst, Corporate and Leverage Lending, responsibilities included:

• Completion of periodic reviews in line with credit policy and risk management, monitoring and compliance of accounts on a day-to-day basis, analysis/modelling of financial information preparation of credit submissions, preparation of sector papers, building relationships with both external & internal customers, coaching and mentoring of new analysts and development of sector strategy & identification of business opportunities

Sole Funds Analyst/Junior Credit Analyst:

• Sole responsibility for WIB's credit processes around funds management sector.
