Kate is a qualified coach, (ECI Qualified Practitioner of Coaching LCH Dip, Strengthscope and Strengths Profile accredited), NLP practitioner and an experienced practitioner and teacher of a strengths-based approach to change known as Appreciative Inquiry. She also has an MSc (distinction) in Applied Positive Psychology, lectures part-time in Applied Positive Psychology at Buckinghamshire New University and is currently studying for a level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at the University of Central Manchester.
Kate has many years’ experience of working at executive level for a large national charity and has also worked for central government and local authorities. This work has included extensive strengths-based team support, coaching, training and mentoring. She has great people skills and is happy to work with people at all levels in an organisation.
All of Kate’s work is underpinned by a solution-focussed, strength-based approach with its roots in positive psychology. She is an experienced coach, an expert practitioner of Appreciative Inquiry - as a facilitator, trainer and coach and was a co-founder of Positive Engagement, one of the few UK-based organisations specialising in the strength-based practice of Appreciative Inquiry.
