In this role my duties and responsibilities were varied but include most administrative tasks such as distribution of the incoming post and franking any outgoing post, Photocopying, Filing, Drafting, and writing letters on behalf of the headteacher's PA. I am also the lunchtime cover for the School's Receptionist and assist her in busy periods of the day. Responsibilities of this role include welcoming any visitors to the site, ensuring they are signed in the visitor's electronic system and are wearing the appropriate badge. Answering the telephone and putting calls through to the correct member of staff and where this is not possible ensure that messages are passed on via email or voicemail. Accept deliveries and sign for them and ensure they are passed to the correct member of staff. Taking messages relating to children's absence through illness or medical appointments and logging this on the school's computer system. Perform first aid when needed. I have undertaken all necessary safeguarding and child protection courses
I worked in the Radiology department as an assistant to the Nursing team. My duties included assisting the Principal Radiographer with Joint Injections. I was also involved in maintaining stock levels and making sure the department was always clean. I was also involved with booking in Patients and making sure they were kept comfortable all times. I was sometimes the first person the Patient saw so I would be there to calm them down if they felt anxious. I loved the interaction and caring for the Patients and being part of a lovely team
